Information processed
Calculation inputs
The plugin processes the numeric scenario values you or the client provide, such as mortgage amounts, rates, amortization periods, income totals, housing costs, debt totals, property values, secured balances, and an effective date. It returns calculation results, assumptions, warnings, and calculation provenance.
Limited operational metadata
For security and reliability, the service records a server-generated request identifier, request method and path, response status, duration, and response size. Application logs do not contain tool inputs, calculation results, request bodies, IP addresses, account identifiers, or authentication secrets.
How information is used
- To perform the requested deterministic mortgage calculation or comparison.
- To return assumptions, warnings, effective dates, and calculation-version information.
- To protect the public service from abuse and diagnose availability or reliability problems.
Clara does not use plugin inputs for advertising, behavioural profiling, lender selection, borrower approval, or automated credit decisions.
Storage and retention
Calculation inputs and results are processed transiently and are not stored in a Clara application database or written to application logs. The limited operational metadata described above is retained for up to 30 days and then deleted under the hosting log-retention setting.
Service providers and recipients
The plugin service is hosted by Google Cloud in Montréal, Canada. Google Cloud processes requests and operational metadata on Clara's behalf to provide hosting, security, and reliability.
The ChatGPT, Codex, Clara, or other client through which you invoke the plugin may separately process your prompt and the returned result under that client's own privacy terms. Clara receives only the tool request sent to the MCP server.
Your choices
You control the values supplied to the plugin. Use hypothetical or otherwise non-identifying totals. If personal information is entered contrary to the plugin's instructions, stop using that scenario and contact Clara with a description of the concern—but do not email the sensitive values themselves.
